"While: unloading heavy machinery from si. lorry at the New -Zealand Dairy Company's new butter factory at Te Awamutu yesterday afternoon, a man named Crabb,. a member of the engineering staff, ..received very serious injuries. The men were sliding the machinery on a roller down inclined planks when, one plank slipped, the machinery crushinc Crabb's thighs. He was removed to "Waikato HospitaL Another accident occurred yesterday afternoon. Lacey Peake, a well-known Hairini ' farmer, was skinning a calf when the knife slipped, inflicting, a nasty gash in his forearm. He lost a considerable amount of blood, but his condition was satisfactory to-day.
