Since last night, seven severe earthquake shocks have been felt at Genoa. There were amazing scenes of panic, tho populace fleeing for tho seashore and the open country. No fatalities aro reported, but thero lias boon serious damage to property.

The shocks occurred at Genoa between two o'clock in the afternoon and live o'clock in the morning. During tho evening tbo city w.'ts choked with fugitives. Audiences forced their way out of the theatres and the terror spread to tho hospitals, wheru patients strove to gain their freedom. Many people rcfuts© to enter buildings «.nd are camping in the open. A series of shocks is reported in tho Italian lliviera. So far the damage has not been serious, but the shocK arc alarming people
