The aetiou of the Unionists will bt dx-ided towards the end of tho week, but probably there will bo no motion of rejection by tho Commons; and it is doubtful whether any attempt can Le inr.de to amend the Bill, which the Government does not believe will occasion any political crisis.

Mr Ernest Blytho (Free State Minister of Finance) in a speech at Clones, contended that tho right of self-deter-mination should be given the Nationalist minority in tho six counties of Ulster, r.,s it was given to the antiNationalist minority in Ireland, The British Government, since tho treaty, had given the Free State a square deal, end ho believed that as regards the boundary they would got a square deal, despite the bitter, hostile campaign at present being conducted in Great Britain.

Regarding the suggestion that Sir James Craig and Mr W. T. Cosgrave should meet again, Mr Blithe said that, in view of the northern leader's attitude of "What we have wo will hold," any further negotiations would bo a sheer waste of time.
