ROTARY
CONFERENCE IN SYDNEY. (BT CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT) (AUSTRALIAN AKD N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Deceived September 24th, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 23. A conference of Rotarians, representative of the Rotary Clubs of the Commonwealth and New Zealand, has opened at the Hotel Australia. The Dominion representatives include Messrs C. Norwood and D. J. McGowan, of Wellington, and Mr D. Cuthbert, of Invercavgill (all of whom are accompanied by their wives), and Mr W. C. Burt, ofDunediu, who is accompanied bv Miss Burt. *The Premier and the Lord Mayor delivered speeches of welcome, and several papers were read upon the, objectives of the movement, embodied in its motto: "Service above self."
