BORDER DISPUTE.
"PUSHING FOR STRIFE." CABLE—PSSSS ASSOCIATION—COPTSJGHT) (ACSTEALIAX AMD IN'-Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received September 21st ; 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 20. Tho Dublin correspondent of the '•Tiiorning Pest" says residents in the northern border territory are openly discussing the imminence cf bloodshed. The people pushing for strife are secret societies, but both sober-minded Free Staters and de Valera, representing the Republicans, condemn the mad dog policy which proposes to infuriate Ulster by insisting on its coercion and tlion repudiate the finding of the Commission, if Ulster is not dismembered. The secret societies, however, d 6 not realise that a bloody game may be successful once, but not twioe. The fall in the Free State national loan is an indication of the dread in well-informed quarters.
