RODE TROLLEYS IN MAIN STREETS. ISPXCIAL TO "TKt PBESS. ') AUCKLAND, September 20. Charged with riding trolleys along streets "where trams run. 20 boys of all s<;es and sizes lined up before Mr F. K. Hunt-, S.M., in " tilc Juvenile Court yesterday. The Chief Traffic Inspector (Mr G. R. Regan) stated that the City Council was reluctant to bring boys Oe.ore the Court, but it was felt necessary in oroer to ensure theic own saict-v and also tu protect motorists. Ihe boys were J. danger to themselves as well as to others. He hoped that the cases would servo as a warning to other youthful owners of trolleys and He cud not- press for a penalty. Mr Hunt: Now, you boys, remember this: you must not, ride on your trolleys along streets where trams run. \\ ill von oromise that? * ''Yes. sir. we do.' chorused the voumc offenders. * Mr"Hunt-: Very well, you can all now.
