The eleventh annual meeting of the Kiccarton Domain Tennis Club was held in tho Oddfellows' Hall, Upper Riccarton. Mr H. W. Coleman presided ever a largo attendance of members. The tenth annual report and balance-sheet, showing that considerable improvement had been effected, and that there was still a good credit balance, was read, and adopted. Two resignations were handed in, and fivo new members proposed and elected. Tho Stevenholme cups presented by Mrs J. G. S. Holmes, were won by Miss I. Huir and Mr L. UNITED CLUB. The annual meeting of members o£-ihe tennis section of the Dnited Club was held on Friday evening. There veaa a largo attendance of members, over which the president of the> »:lub (Mr Wm. Goss) presided. The annual report and balance-sheet were taien as read aud adopted for .presentation to the annual meeting of the club. ► The following nominations were received: Vice-president, Mr P. G. Greenwood; nominations for membership of the executive, Messrs Wm. Goss and It. .Browning; honorary secretary, Mr S. D. Denton; honorary treasurer, Mr S. "W. Field; .Management Committee, Messrs R. Browning (chairman), W. Goss, W. S. Somerville, M, G. Somerville, and P. G. Greenwood (ex-officio). It was resolved that the Management Committee be empowered to spend- up to £ls in the purchase of a cap for tho ladies' singles championship. A-sum of "£lO waa voted to tho Wilding Park fund.

It was • decided that applications be invited for the following handicap events: Men's singles, ladies' singles, me&'a doubles, ladies' doubles, combined doubles; entries to close on October 18th. It was resolved: "That tha regulation restricting ladies' play on the courts on Mondays and-Wednesdays, after' 6 p.m., bo adhered to, and also to enforce the regulation preventing men's singles on Tuesdays and Thursdays, after 5 p.m." AVONSIDE CLUB. The animal report of the Avonside Lawn Tennis Club states that the receipts for the year totalled £236 10s 2d, including an amount of £l3 la 2d brought forward nom last year. ■ The f-xpenditure was £360 19s, leaving a debit balance of £63 8s lOd, brought about chiefly by extensive improvements to the pavilion and renewal of tho netting fencing. CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL CLUB. The annual meeting of the Catholic Cathedral Tennis Club was held on Wednesday, Mr F. G. O'Brien presiding. The b&laßce-fiheet showed a credit of £lB 2a Id.

The Tii-ml meeting of the Wools ton Tennis Club held last week, a good muster of members being present and the president, Mr J. B. Johns in the chair. The annual report showed that the club had enjoyed a prosperous season and that the standard .of play was improving.
