APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS. (SPECIAL TO "TH* PBEM.") WELLINGTON, August 14. The following Salvation Army officers were appointed by Commissioner Hoggard to-night, after a nine months' course in barracks. The place of origin of each officer is given in parentheses: — Lieut. Paul Eichler (Feilding) to Fairlie. Lieut. Edmund Foster (Whangarei) to Cambridge. Lieut. Ernest Gray (Oamaru) to Greymouth. Lieut. William McKinnon (Whangarei) to Blenheim. Lieut, Ernest Eiseley (Sydenham) to Eeefton. Lieut. Ernest Sansom (Hamilton) to Dunedin City. Lieut. Albert Stanton (Newton) to Christehureh City. Lieut. Alfred Talbot (Auckland City) to Win ton. Lieut. John Walker (Nevrton) to Roßlyn. Lieut. Annabell Baird (Invercargill) to Dunedin. Lieut. Edith Blaikie (Milton) to Port Chalmers. Lieut. Margaret Irvine (Wellington City) to Dunedin. Lieut.
