FORMALDEHYDE DECISION. (BT CASUS—PBBSB ASBOCIA'XIOS— COFJftIOHT) (AUBTSUUAIT AMD S.B. CAIUS ASaOOJABOI.) LONDON, August 12. The committee's decision regarding formaldehyde has greatly disappointed those interested in the Australian and Now Zealand meat trade, who regard it as inexplicable in view of the use of formaldehyde and similar drugs in medicines. The opinion is expressed that if the recommendation is enforced, Australia will receive a knock-out blow so far a3 heef is concerned, the trade in which must be handed over to the Argentine.
