NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of "The Ratings Act, 1008," Sections 48 to 51, and amendments thereto, and of "The Counties Act, 1920," Sections 120 and 121, that it is the intention of the. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting pf the Council held on Monday, August 11th, 1923,' the following resolution was papsed and will bo submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting l of tho Council to bo' held ou Mondav, September 22nd, 1921: "That in .pursuance and txerciso of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the "Waim iri County Differential Rate Empowering Act, 1912," tho Waimairi County Co ncil he.cby resolves by way of SPECIAL. ORDER to make and levy a differential rato en tho rateable vsjuo of ail tie rateable property in that part of the Styx, Belfast, and H.arewood Ridings of the W»imstiri County, Known as the Styx Drainage Area, as defined in a Special Order of tho Council dated the 6fh May, 1921, as follows: . (1) A rate of eleven-sixteenths of a penny in tho £ on the rateable value of all the property described in the classification lists deposited for uublic inspection, as beinjj in Class dne. (2) A rate of One Farthing in the £ on the rateable value of all the property describd in tho said classification lists aa being in Class Two. (3) A rate of Oneeighth of a Penny in the £on the rateable value of all the property described in tho E»id Classification lists aa being in Class Three."
