At the Tailteann Games at Dublin, the 100 metres senior international race was run in heata. McKechenneay (Canada) beat Porritt fNew Zealand), the time being 10 9-10 sec. E. W. Carr (Australia) won his heat in 10 4-ssec. The final was won by. Carr.
