LAKE ELLESMERE DOMAIN BOARD.
At a meeting of tho Lake Eliesrasre Domain Board, it was decided to ad-opt the suggestions of the lioard's solicitor regarding proposed amendments to the by-laws, and a dratt clause prepared by him for insertion in the "Waohing-Up Bill'' of the present session was approved. Authority was given for the purchase of a 20-jallon reinforced concrete pumice boiler for the benefit of picnickers, etc., it being the intention of the Board, that, if this proved satisfactory,' another boiler of the same dimensions be procured at a later date. The matter of procuring macrocarpa. trees for planting was .left in the hands of the chairman,, it being decided to purchase one-year-old trees in lieu of the - iwo-year-old trees arranged for at the previous . meeting. . The secretaries replied balances of £S Is and £3OO at the Nation.il Bank and Post Office Savings' Bank respectively.
