"When two train tracks ela£ln»d together at Richmond, New South Wales, recentiv, a man n*thed Ernest Daly was caught by the chin between the buffers. His lower jaw wss bfoken in five places. "I had just uncoupled the trucks when it happerrcd," Daly said in the hospital. "I thought the gngjne had been taken off, but as J was climbing up on a truck the engine suddenly backed. I fell, of course, and mv chin just got nipped between the buffers. Another fraction of a second and it might have been my head."
