"I/ '" : p , , lleporu were received 3 *? and Messrs W. Thomson, J. Woodard, A. \V Jackson, A. 0. Wilson, and J. C. *aJ; kinder, convener* ot the tees. The reports stated that tho initial work was well in hand The Qupco Carnival Committee, .reported that the St Albans Burgesses' -Association had elected Mm K. C. Watkiwwn to represent them as their queen, and that other bodies interested were proceeding with elections. „ , ,- ~ T,-, Mr Ga«diardi reported that the tdgeware Club had decided to place the panlion at tho disposal of the committee free of charge. Tho offer was accepted with thanks. , _. , It was decided to continue holding the weekly meetings on Mondays. Mr A. W. Jackson was appointed organising secretary to the fund.
