AKAROA-WAINUI ROAD BOARD.

At the monthly meeting of" the AkaroaWairiui Road Board, thero were presentMessrs R. A. Mould (chair), S. J. Vogan, J. Hayward, and W. 11. Moore. An apology was received from Mr A. R. Hay lock. Mr Vegan's notice of motion empowering tho striking of a, rate of 3-Td in the £ was seconded by the chairman end carried, Messrs Hayward and Vogan being authorised to sign tho rato roll. , The Akaroa County Council wrote seating that, in respect to the Road Board's complaint regarding damage done to Irenctt F«rm Val.ey road by the County crusher, two councillors lia<J been deputed to inspect tho road and report. . Mr L. J. Vangioni wroto thanking tLo Board for repairs carried out on the Tikao Bay road. , . Messrs Irvine, Stevenson and Co., wroto offering to buy n certain shod and small section at tho Maori Kaik, assuming it was tho Boards property. It was decided to inform them that the shed was within tho Chain Reserve from highwater-mark, and belonged to tho Merino Department; ' _ Mr J L. Davis, surveyor, wrote certnying that -payments of £43 and £3O were; due to Messrs Woodill and Phillips, contract b, &nd Mr L. J.
