MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
KAIAPOI ASSOCIATION. A general meeting of members of the Kaiapoi • Miniature Rifle Association was held in Ranigiora on Thursday night. Delegates were present from the Scfion, Southbrook, Waikuku, "Woodend, Kaiapoi, Territorial, Kaiapoi W.M.C., and K-angiora Clubs. Correspondence was received from the Christchurch Miniature Rifle Association' accepting a challenge to a match, and suggesting that this contest be fired in Rangiora. This was agreed to. Messrs J. Ball and J. S. Cook were appointed delegates to attend a meeting to be held in Christchurch to consider the formation of a New Zealand Miniature Rifla Association. It was decided to hold the Association's championship meeting on Saturday, August BOth, the conditions to be the same as last year. Messrs W. Livingstone, J. Ball, G W. Heney, and F. Bryden were elected a committee to make the necessary arrangements for the annual smoke concert to be held at the end of September.
