SOUTHLANDERS.
*0 THS EDIT OB OF "THE PBKSS." Sir, —* notice an article in "The Press" recently,- suggesting a reunion of Southlanders in Timaru, and I think it is a splendid idea, for there are hundreds of Southland people here alreadv, and still they come. They arc glad to get -to a genial climate' after a sojourn in the cold and ever changeable, south. It would be very interesting if the. Southlanders in Christchurch arranged to get together oft similar lines. I<et it be an annual affair, and keep a record of the number attending, in order to show the increase of the drift as years go by. The result would, 1 am sure, be an eye-opener to many people.—Yours. etc., PBIME CANTERBURY.
