Word lias been received that several Oxford students,, members of the Uni-' versity Debating ■ Society; .will make-'a world tour." Among them is Mr' Mil!-' colm Mac Donald, a son of the English Prime Minister. - . . , It is suggested that they should meet' debating teams from the four University colleges in New Zealand, and ..the proposal has been placed before \ho Students' Association of • Victoria College. It appears that there has been some dissatisfaction, with the conduit of the Debating Soeiety of this college and a long and vigorous /.discussion wa;. aroused by the proposal that the do-: bates should aiot be of - a Bolshevik, Socialistic, or disloyal nature. In the end, by a large majority, it was decided that topics for the debat - ; shall be a subject for the approval of the executive of the Students' Associa Hon. >• -
