The inaugural meeting of the W Zealand Miniature Rifle Association will be hold during the progress of the Canterbury Miniature Rifle Championships this evening. Raphes have been received from various Associations in accord with the move, and it is fully expected that a btrong association will be formed. Delegates will be present from as far south as Dunedin. Tho business of the initial meeting will be the actual formation of the Dominion Association, and the election of a sub-committee to draw up_ a report for ft further meeting. The opinion has been expressed that Christchurch would be a good centre of operations, and provided a strong Council can be elected, there is no reason why the Association should not be a marked success.
