ALLEGED ARSON.
A DUNEDIN CASE. (r~2SS ASSOCIATION TEUUUAIt.) DUNEDIN, July 18. In the Magistrate's Court this morning the case was continued in which James Dee was charged with having, on July 12th, wilfully set fire to a "building situated at 73 Lower Rattray street, occupied by Keith Ramsay and Co. He pleaded not guilty to both charges, and was represented by Mr C. J..L. White. Cheif-De'tf active Lewis said it was proposed to include evidence relating to throe fires on the same night of tho alleged offence, and also to a fire a week previously, tho .object being to show system. After hearing the evidence, the.Magistrate adjourned the case till to-mor-row morning.
