The hearing has commenced of the claim against'the owner of the Honolulu Maru. ; It was stated.in evidence that the vaiue of' the "Japanese steainer was £87,000 and tho owners of the tug Champion claimed 10 per cent, of this value. The question for the Court to decide was the amount of salvage to be paid, as the salvage of the vessel was not disputed. [Owing to the shifting o£ her cargo and a consequent heavy list the Honolulu Jitaru called for aid off the Australian coast.
