At the meeting of the General Committee o! the Canterbury A. end P. Association yesterday, Mr H. S. S. Kyle askod what the position was respecting tho Kug y Football League's application for the Show Grounds for the match on the 18th inat. Ho understoodl that the Association's agreement with the Rugby Union was for the use of toe founds by the Union on Saturdays. He did not know if it included Wednesdays. Mr John Deans said that a small subcommittee wa ß dealing with the matter, and until it bad completed its work nothing couldi be reported.
