AKAROA MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
At the Magistrate's Court at Akaroa yesterday, before Mr Wyvern Wilson, AJan Macdonald. was convicted without penalty for a breach of a prohibition order. Tho charge had been held up for three months owing to the defcndant'3 ill-health. CIVIL BUSINESS. Judgment by default was given for P M Eadie, who claimed £lO 2a lid from' H* Gardiner. • j E. A. Barritt (Mr C. H. Ho'mcs) was noneuited in a claim for £l2, which ho made against E. Wharton (Mr W. J. Hunter). M. A. Mason proceeded against J. Haines on a judgment summons to recover £ll6 ,103 9d. The 1 case wiis dismissed, thoro being no proof of means. The inter-pleader summons case, Turnbull and Jones v. C. J.
