The Government of Ontario has purchased for over £3OOO and despatched to the British Empire Exhibition what is believed to be the most valuabje single piece of silver ore ever taken from a mine in the British Empire. It is 31't long, 3ft high, and 2ft.wide, and contains. 24,1110z of silver. It was obtained from the Kecley Mine in Northern Ontario. •'
