Owing to the refusal of employees at the looal dockyards to repair the Port Lyttclton, it is probable' that the vessel will have to undergo permanent repairs in Java. Arrangements are in progress lor temporary repairs to be effected in Sydney, following which the vessel will leave for x>atavia.
