• * .■ On Saturday evening there wns transmTcted from 3A.Q. a radio concert which rivalled any previous local broadcast. Star tion 3A.Q. 13 ah example that successful transmission is not solely confined to highpowered plant, but that much depends in the operation of the transmission set. Last Week Mr 'Binail received reports from Hamilton, Eketahuna, and JJunedin advising that station 3A.Q. was being received witfigood strength and clearness. Saturday evening's programme was an unusually good and the calls over tbe telephone for encores were continuous. .The following contributed the programme Mrs Frank O'Brien, Mißses Murks, D. Williams, M. John 3 13. Irwin, D. Johnston, M. Irwin, and Mesare Eeg. Vincent, G. Patterson, and J. Laurenson.
