The British experts, who are to investigate the management of the New South Wales-Railways, will report on tho organisation and the running of passenger and' goods trafhc, tares, freights and financial returns, and matters appertaining to mechanical equipment. They will report also on the type of locomotives, rolling-stock ana matters affecting the maintenance oi the permanent way, station equipment and signalling; V The Transvaal Legislative Assembly has dissolved. The election is to be held on June 17th. The Salisbury (Rhodesia) election, which resulted in a- tie between _a Rhodesian candidate and an Independent, has been drawn, the Rhodesian winning.: This gives the Government of the 30 seats in the new House.
