Conference passed a resolution that quarterly meetings m? urged to organise public meetings, at suitable intervals, with the aim of informing the people in-regard to Prohibition and other essential reforms, and in the direction of'bringin? about the return of men to Parliament, pledged to reform in harmony with the policy of the Church.
UNION OP THE CHURCHES. t ' (AVBTSAUAS AMI H.I. CIBLB ASSOCUTXOB.) SYDNEY, March 6. Speaking at the official luncheon,, at the Methodist Conference, to the heads of the Churches, Archdeacon D'Arcy Irvine suggested the union of the Anglican and Methodist Churches as the first step to a wider union.
