DESIGNATION OF N.Z. EXPORTS.
NO MORS "AUSTRALASIAN." Tho New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received advice from London that the heading of the c4.f, contract forms for muttpn and lamb had beep altered from "Australasian 1 ' to "A us * tralian and New Zealand." Thiß i§ a inatter which Mr J. 8. Jessep, yiciechajjrman of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board, took up when he was in London. The Board is also endeavouring to get the leading English newspapers, when referring to Bmithfield supplies of muttpn and lamb, to quote them as "New Zealand" and " Australian " respectively, instead of "Australasian." Cpnaidering that the supply of mutton and lamb shipped from our Dominion is considerably in excess of the Australian exports, it is only claimed tha* it is only right that the word "New Zealand" should be used when referring to our exports of frczen meat.
