WINTER SHOW.
The Winter Show Committee of the ! Canterbury A. and P. Association met ! on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Mr R. W. Lochhead. j It was decided to recommend to the j General Committee of the Association that the Show dates be May 14th, loth, 16th and 17th ; and that an endeavour should be made to arrange for a special sports attraction on the Saturday afternoon: farther, that members of the Association be admitted free, eaeh member to be given one lady's ticket; and that tho charge of admission be adults one shilling, children sixpence. It was reported that the schedule for the Show was in the printer's hands and that the entries for the cheese and butter for export classes would close on April Ist, and for all other classes on April 23rd. The schedule for the fruit and vegetable classes, submitted by the Canterbury Fruitgrowers' was approved. The offer of the Dominion Compressed Yeast Company to present prizes for home-made bread on the same conditions as for the November Show was accented.
