* OPENING OF 1924 CLASSES. The official opening of the 1924 classes in connexion with the Christchurch "Workers' Educational Association will be marked by a public meeting, to bo held on the evening of the 22nd inet, which will b« presided over by Mr H. D. Acland, and at which two prominent speakers will give addresses relating to the W.E.A. movement and to education generally. The following are the classes that it is hoped to set up during the season:—Public Speaking, Economio Functions of Government, Social Psychology, >ew Zealand Economic Problems, Literature and Drama, ilusic, History of the Ivear Ea ß t Bince the 19th Century, Astronomy Biography, History of the British Trade L/nion Movement, Elementary Botany, <vnd General Economics.
