SHIRLEY SCHOOL.
The month!" meeting of the Shirley School Committee was held on Tuesday. Present—Messrs Thompson (chairman), Robb, Ives, Kinney, blarney, Yv'codtield, tia.it, and Mrs McKay, it. decided to construct a, bridge over tile channel in iront of Shirley road gute. A resolution was parsed congratulating the headmaster and stiff on the manner in which the children -Aero controlled on the occasion of Uia picnic. The headmaster's report stated that the average attendance ior the month was c<66, and the roll number £Ol. Mr Balch wrote stating his leavo of absence would commenoa on March 17th. Arrangements had been made for Mr Pratt to take charge.
