A land agent when- asked the position of the land market stated (.says the Wanganui that a few farms have been sold of late. Looking ahead the tone was very promising owing to the satisfactory prices for wool. Farmers were making enquiries for suitable farms on which to put their sons. Hitherto they were unable to buy owing to financial depression, but many of them could now see daylight ahead.
