RIFLE SHOOTING.
CASHMERE MINIATURE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Cashmere Miniature Rifle Club was held on Monday evening. Mr C. 11. Walker, the club captain, presided over a large attendance of members. The report and balanoe-slieet showed that the club was in a j,ood position both as regards members and finance. The report showed that though the teams did not havo a great success in the Association matches, a member, in H. Haworth, was successful in winning the Christchurch junior championship, while a five-men team finished in second place in the North Canterbury championship. It was decided to cpen the season next Monday evening. The following officers were elected ior the year: Patron, Brigadier-General A. \V. Andrew; president, Mr H. A. Papprill; vice-presi-dents, Mrs W. C. Walker, Messrs G. IT. Hall, A. F. Smith, W. Winsor, E. Peek, J. McLean. W. W. Scarff, T. Smart, R. Hamilton; club captain, Mr C. R. Walker; vice-captai*. Mr W. J. Gabb; committee, Messrs A J. Derbidge, H. pa worth, P. Cole, H. Mcßlroy, F. Judkins; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr R. H. Neill; honorary auditor, Mr A. J. Derbidge; delegate to Christchurch Miniature Rifle Association, Mr J. Diadk.
