SKIN TROUBLE.
TO THE EDETOR OF *THB PRBSS.* - Sir, Still another correspondent has appeared to try and help to stamp out the skin affliction which i s troubling many jnsfc now. And he suggests a euro consisting of a rather drastic washing, followed by sulphur treatment, which will be effective in about a week's time. Mav I point out that tho dry treatment, talc, etc., is more humane and speedier in result, unless in complicated cases, requiring only three days.—Yours, etc^
PENEQD. TO THE EDITOR OF "THK PRESS." Sir,—ln regard to tho skin trouble written about in your recent issues of ''Tho Pross," I and my family were victims of tho same tronblo last winter, and Buffered for months. Wo tried every remedy we could think of, but obtained no relief. I at last sought the doctor'B advice, who told me that it was "scabies," and that the best and only treatment for ikwaa sulphur baths, to -be taken every night, and to rub the affected parts thoroughly with sulphur ointment, and to frequently change and boil sheets and tho clothing wom next the body. This certainly entails a lot of work a t the time, but .is well worth it, as tho rash soon disappeared, and there has been no return of the trouble.— Tours, etc-.,
