Congratulatory reference was made at last evening's meeting of the Philosophical Institute of Canterbury "• to the appointment of Mr G. Archey as curator of the Auckland Museum. Mr M. H. Godby said that, in succeeding Mr Cheeseman, Mr Arehey would have a great tradition to follow. He was, sure Auckland could be congratulated on a wi§e choice.
