Monsieur and Madame Grangeat, a young married couple, living on the best of terms, had a friend to dinner. As the guest departed Madame took out a snuff box and helped herself to a pinch. The husband laughingly said, "Fancy taking snuff at your age." Madame thereupon flew into a rage, ran to her bedroom and returned with a loaded revolver and.shot her husband dqad.
