ANOTHER TRY FOR CONTROL. (BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT.) (mutes's telegrams .) CAIRO, March 4. Another attempt to establish works on iSoviet principles in Alexandria has failed. The workmen employed in the Abou Clianab cotton-oil factory forcibly took possession of the premises, three policemen being injured in tbe course of the fight.
Zaghlul Pasha (Prime Minister) sent a message ordering the workmen to evacuate the buildings or they would be treated as outlaws. Preparations were made to eject them,, whereupon tho workmen evacuated the buildings, which are now strongly held by the police, pending the conclusion of wage negotiations. The police seized a quantity of documents in the Communist headquarters.
