DELHI, March 4. Colonel Crawford, general secretary to the European Association, in a speech at Calcutta, called upon all members of the European oommunity in India to oontribute to the association one per cent, of their monthly pay, to provide a fund to maintain the interests of Europeans. The appeal is likely to meet with success, as recent events in Lndia have caused Europeans to realise the necessity for a most powerful representation of their claims.
