CHINESE TOWN SWEPT. (EZ CABLE— PBESS ASSOCIATION COPYBIOOT.) (AUSTRALIAN /ND K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received March 6th, 8.40 p.m.) PEKING, March 4. A message from Tsing-tao says that official figuros published to-day reveal that 300 were burned to death, suffocated or died of panic, and 700 others were injured last Friday, as the result of a fire which swept the important t-own of Chowtsun, 40 miles east of Tsinan, in the Shantung provinoe.
