ALLEGED FALSIFICATION.
(P&ESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.)
FEILDING, March 4.
Charges of an unusual nature were heard at the Magistrate's Court today, when Henry Simpson, cream collector for the Cheltenham Co-opera-tive Dairy Co., was charged with conspiring with suppliers to defraud the company by falsifying cream tests. Suppliers joined in the charge were Otto Kreegher, charged in respect of £336, J. I'homasen (£B9), It. Uaivigan (£44), A. M. Taylor (£474) and Wright.
In all the cases except Wright's, accused admitted having supplied false tests, and Simpson admitted taking those. The suppliers had arranged with the company to make restitution. Wright's case was not reached when the Court adjourned.
The other accused pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges and were committed for trial.
