Six carloads of Grade A Adirondack snow from Thendare, N.Y., yere consigned to Chauncey Depew Steele, owner of Briarcliff Lodge Hotel, Westchester County. The snow properly insured against melting and rain, was used on the 200-yard slide for the Olympic team of ski jumpers who gave an exhibition. They were on their way to the sports in Switzerland.
