TO-NIGHT'S CARNIVAL.
Tho carnival which is to be held to-night at the 'lepid ißaths promises to bo very attractive both from tho number of_ entries received and the qualifications of the competitors. Miss Gwitha Shand will be paced in her attempt on. the 200; metre record by C. Atkinson, tlic 440 yajrds, 880 yards, ajid one mile New Zealand chajnpion. Other New Zealand chwnpions attacking records will be C. Herd, breaststroke champion; L. Moorhouse, backtifcroke champion; N. S. Batcheior, 220 yards New Zealand champion; W. Camerc'tt. and S. Loader, schoolboy chamnions; while Dorothy Bre ward will make"an attempt sit smashing her own record for the 50 yards breaststroke. A limited number of reserved seats can be booked at the Tepid Baths.
