ASIATICS IN NATAL.
ORDINANCE HELD UP

CAPE TOWN, February 12.
The Governor-General-in-Couneil reserved his assent to the Natal Townships Ordinance, which was passed by the National Provincial Council last year.
The ordinance sought to debar Asiatics from municipal franchise. A similar ordinace, passed previously several times, has always been vetoed by the Governor-General.
