© <FBBSS ; AS3O<-IAZXO2f . TELEOBAK.) AUCKLAND", January 31. The theft of, sixty-seven rings, .valued at £603 15s, from the premises of C. F. Norton, jeweller, resulted in Patrick Guxvn (28), and Charles Cox (38) appearing at tho Magistrate's Court. They pleaded not guilty, reserved their defence and were committed for trial on bail. A Maori named Peni Karakiakore (26) also pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence and was committed for trial on a charge of breaking, entering and theft of £5 15s from Kenneth Eady's piano shop in Upper Queen street.
