Personal. Mr and Mrs N. Greenland aro leading for a holiday on the West Coast. Miss Helen Fraser, after five years' service on' tho staff of the Lyltoltoxi D.H.S., joins tbc Bluff of tho Sydenham School today. Miss Frnsor was yesterday entertained at morning tea, and advantage was taken of tho opportunity to present her, on behalf of her past pupils, with an ebony-backed hand mirror, and on behalf of.tbc-otaf? witti a manicure set. , The ■ School Committee was represented at the function by Dr. C. Members of Trinity Young Men's Club and friends paid a visit to Quail Island on Wednesday night in. order to eay "an revoir" io tho matron, Miss Cars ton, who is leaving to ta.ko up another position. Musical items ■were given by tho party. During tbo evening a presentation was xnado to the matron in appreciation, of the many kindnesses rendered to the club by her during their annual camps. Mt A. Graham, in making tho presentation, wiohed Miss Caraton good luck in her new appointment, and hoped oho would remember them occasionally. A further presentation of a kewpie, decorated in" bluo ribbon, was made by Mr A. Graham, on behalf of the crow of the Linnet 11., who were sorry to lose 6o staunch a supporter of tho "blues." Mias Carston 'briefly replied, thanking th« members for their kind wishes. The latter part of tho programme had to 'be abandoned on account of rain falling. The Picturoa. "Drifting," iv Universal-Jewel drama featuring Pricilla Dean, will be repeated at tho Harbour Light Theatre to-night, together with a Century comedy and a gazette. Tomorrow, "Tho Brass Bottle," a comedy-mys-tery picture, will bo screened. The supporting programme includes a comedy, travelegal o and gazette.
