Hughes (Secretaryof State) iias sent an apology to Hungary for the violation of the domicile attached to the Hungarian Legation by police, offioers , during the liquor raid just before Christmas. [On December 2nd, Wasbingtpn reported that an illicit liquor scandal threatening to touch the moat .exclusive and highly-connected circles had been revealed. The police reported that part of the stock of liquor being sold was under tho protection of a foreign legation.]
