A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 2m orman Alfred List, a student, in connexion with the Gardens murders.
Police watched his home at Richmond all ?fiight, and went to several otner places lie is known to frequent, but withoufc success. His arrest is expected shortly.
The three victims of the tragedy were buried! to-day amid pathetic graveside scenes.
BRAIN-FAiG FROM OVER-STUDY. (ArsTSAUAU' ADD 'S.z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) MELBOURNE, January 25. There is no trace yet of the lunatic responsible for the Botanic Gardens shooting. He is believed to be a mathematical student suffering from brain-fag through over-study.
