FIRES.
The Fire Brigade received a call al 3.55 p.m. y&sterday_ to the foundry of Anderson's, Ltd., in Lichfield street, where a fire had broken out in a small stack of timber in the yard. Owing to the strong wind tho frames appeared to have a good hold, but -were extinguished by the brigade before more than slight damage was done.
