Two Auckland auctioneers, Clarence Russell' and Henry James Abraham, carrying 011 business at the Central Auction Mart in Queen street, were arrested at their place of business yesterday by Detective Knight on; a charge of conspiring to defraud. -The accused were brought before Mr Poynton, S.M., in the Police Court and remanded 011 bail till December 13tli.
